Cookie Policy

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that it can recognise your device again later. The same rules cover the other ways a site can store or read information on your device: local storage, session storage, browser databases and device fingerprinting.

2. What this site stores

Nothing. Checked against the live site, horizonsymmetry.com creates:

We do not know who you are while you browse, we cannot tell whether you have been here before, and we cannot follow you to any other site.

3. Why there is no consent banner

Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), which implements the EU ePrivacy Directive, requires your consent before a site stores information on your device or reads information already stored there. It applies to storing and reading. Since this site does neither, there is nothing for you to consent to, and a banner would be asking permission for something that is not happening.

If that ever changes, this page changes with it and a real consent request appears before anything is stored, not after.

4. Requests your browser still makes

Storing nothing is not quite the same as contacting nobody. The animated scene on the home page is served from outside our domain, so your browser fetches it from these providers, and any web request carries your IP address and browser details to whoever answers it:

Fonts, images and video are served from our own domain rather than from a font or media network, which is deliberate. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to that request data.

5. The booking calendar is different

Our project enquiry funnel at apply.horizonsymmetry.com ends with an optional booking step. If you reach it, a calendar supplied by Cal.com loads inside the page, and Cal.com does store information on your device in order to run the booking, under its own cookie and privacy policies.

That step is optional and you can complete the enquiry without it. Nothing from Cal.com loads anywhere on horizonsymmetry.com itself.

6. Controlling cookies anyway

There is nothing here for you to clear, but every browser lets you review and delete what sites have stored, and block them from storing more. The controls sit under Settings, then Privacy, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Blocking storage entirely will not affect this website, because it does not rely on any.

7. Changes to this policy

If we add anything that stores or reads information on your device, we will update this page, move the date at the top, and ask for your consent beforehand where the law requires it.
